$FORM is quietly showing some solid relative strength today.
Shares are around $105.00, up roughly 3.3%, after trading as high as $105.92.
And there’s a fresh catalyst behind it.
FormFactor picked up a $24M grant, adding another piece to the semiconductor capacity story while chip and AI hardware names are bouncing today.
📌 Current price: $105.00
📌 Gain: +3.25%
📌 Intraday high: $105.92
📌 Key level: $106
I’m watching whether buyers can clear $106 and actually hold it.
Nice move.
But I’d rather see confirmation than chase the first push

Totally agree!
$FORM could easily be sitting at a fair value of $200 right now. Thanks for the comment mate!

$FORM is very underrated imo

Because the market don’t like semiconductor and AI, and sensitivity of $FORM $AEHR and $TER is larger than semiconductor

Sharp take. The real squeeze is under the GPU.

⚙️ $FORM | FormFactor Aggressive AI & Advanced Packaging Update! 🚀⚡
🧠 Cryogenic Test Revolution: FormFactor is tackling the physical limits of AI scaling! The company officially launched its Advanced Cryogenics Lab featuring the automated IQ3000 platform, allowing developers to test next-gen quantum, superconducting, and AI device populations at scale.
📊 Road to $1.6 Billion: At Citi’s 2026 TMT Conference, CEO Mike Slessor highlighted that as chiplets, High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM), and advanced packaging grow more complex, testing demand skyrockets. $FORM locked a clear target to scale its annual revenue to $1.6B by 2030 with a 55% gross margin.
📈 Stock Momentum: Shares are building solid traction near $104.77, supported by a blowout Q2 revenue beat ($258.2M) and a fresh "Buy" rating upgrade from Seeking Alpha/UBS with targets tracking up to $145. Near-term bottlenecks at its Texas factory are actively being cleared.

alright let's see what's cooking on $FORM #FORMUSDT.P 1h 🧐
- my bias is bearish here — 1h structure is lower highs/lower lows, aligned with weekly and a bearish BTC tape, so any bounce is a counter-trend pop inside the larger downtrend and I want a clean rejection before I lean short
- I expect price to tag the 0.2406–0.2436 liquidity pocket first (last swing high), then roll toward 0.2315 / 0.2296 and subsequently the 0.2238 area
- short entry zone is that 0.2406–0.2436 supply after a sweep of 0.2436; wait for a rejection wick, bearish engulfing, or a lower-timeframe market structure shift down before entering — crowded top-trader longs vs falling OI makes a failed rally more interesting, not a reason to fade blindly
- take-profits in order: 0.2315, then 0.2296, then 0.2238
- place protection beyond the structure flip; a close above 0.2436 is what flips this 1h bias bullish

Futures had a Fed hike on Wednesday at about 86% this morning, so I went back six months to see which parts of the AI supply chain actually trade on the 10-year. Test and memory do, $TER $FORM $MU. Optics mostly doesn't, and that matters for reading today.
The 10-year went from 4.05% on March 2 to 4.975% at Friday's close, the top of that range. In those six months it rose 5bp or more on 19 sessions. I took each layer we follow and averaged its move on those 19 days, equal weight across the names.
Test came out worst at -2.5%. Memory -2.4%. Packaging, which for us is just $AMKR, -1.8%. Neoclouds -1.7%. Interconnect -1.5%. Power and $NVDA both -1.2%. On the same days the Nasdaq-100 averaged -0.9% and the S&P -0.7%.
Then the ones that barely cared. Optics -0.5%, cybersecurity -0.4%, the four hyperscalers -0.4%.
The neoclouds I'd have guessed, since they fund GPUs with debt. Test at the top I can't give you a clean reason for. It's two names with big swings of their own, so I'd call it a tendency and nothing firmer.
Now today. At 3:14 p.m. the 10-year is 4.963%, about a basis point below Friday. Brent went to about $109 this morning and is back near $105. Rates didn't move, and optics is still down 10.3% on average with test down 9.9%. Whatever is hitting optics today, it isn't the 10-year.
For Wednesday the decision itself is mostly priced. What I'm watching is where the 10-year closes afterward. If Fed Chair Kevin Warsh leaves room for more than one and it closes through 5%, the last six months say test, memory and the neoclouds take it first. Optics has a different problem this week.
This is 19 days and a simple average, not a model. Other news lands on the same days, some layers are one or two names, and $SKHY has only traded in New York since July.
What would change my read: optics falling hard on Wednesday on nothing but a jump in yields. That would mean rates have become its problem too.

Samsung and TSMC are competing in silicon photonics. The same test suppliers can serve both.
The Elec reported on September 7 that Samsung is using FormFactor ($FORM) and MPI probe stations for its photonic-chip wafer testing, the same suppliers used for TSMC's COUPE development.
Samsung aims to complete its in-house PIC wafer evaluation by year-end.
My take: this is the appeal of the testing layer. A supplier can gain customers as rival foundries build competing optical platforms. The next commercial step is converting development work into production test demand; the report gives no order value.

alright let's see what's cooking on $FORM #FORMUSDT.P 1h 🧐
- my bias is bearish here on the 1h while price holds below the last lower high — this is aligned with weekly structure but counter-trend to the bullish daily and BTC, so I want a clean rejection or failed sweep before any short
- I expect a probe of 0.2339–0.2322 first, then the 0.2300 swing-low liquidity and 0.2269 if that gives way
- short entry zone: 0.2402–0.2422 supply (or a wick through 0.2439 that fails to close above) after a 15m/5m shift lower, bearish engulf, or pin at that band — crowded top-trader longs and mild buy-taker flow mean I wait for that confirmation, not chase
- take-profits in order: 0.2339, 0.2322, 0.2300, then 0.2269
- place protection beyond the structure flip / that 0.2439 swing high
- invalidation: a 1h close above 0.2439 flips my bias bullish
